Jordan climbed Kings Peak!

The Scouts climbed Kings Peak, THE biggest peak in Utah! Only 4 of the 9 boys made it to the top.  (Right to Left) A.J., Riley, Jordan, Keagan.

The Scoutmaster found a shortcut.  From what I understand, it was shorter in distance, but rougher terrain.  The terrain included these HUGE spiders between almost every rock.  It added an extra hour and half to the hike.  Not happy campers :\

Our annual trip to Provo for BYU apparel.  LOVE eating at the Brick Oven!

ALOT of resemblance in the above picture and below pic... the good ol' duh look!

Madi got feathers in her hair... super cute!!  We did this during our girls trip.

Oh, our Huddy!  One of the things I said I would never do is let my kid have a pacifier past 4 months tops! Well, Hud is almost 3 yrs. old.  It's awesome!  So, to make matters better, we found this really obnoxious buck tooth pacifier.  Then Hudson added his flair with the hat.  He said he was cold.

Aw, Huddy and Daddy at 'feetball' practice.

I love the mountains! Dirty hands, dirty face, dirty shirt and it's all okay!

Jeremy is slowly coming around lol.  He clocked Kennedy in the side of the face with watermelon, then almost got Charlotte.  Luckily Lindsay is there for Jer to keep him on task and always giving him challenges (like trying to feed the kids watermelon).  Lindsay always has a beautiful smile, even though she faces so many triumphs and tribulations with Jeremy.  Ha Ha Ha! I love ya Jer... just not your best pic.

WHOA MARSHMALLOW!

Gettin' ready to roast.

Gary and Jenna's wedding on April 1, 2011.  Cute cousins! (Right to Left) Jordan, Kristen, Madi, Jeff, and Hudson

Huddys first time golfing... he loved it!

and... yeah.

...and, yeah...I think we have all been saying that this summer.  It has been a very eventful one!  In May, Milt went in for back surgery on a disk that was impinging on his spinal cord.  This surgery was very extensive in the way of how they had to reach the disk... through his right side rib area.  Milt is a strong man.  He was on deaths door several times during his month stay in and out of the ICU.  I'm sure I will miss one of the critical items, but while he was there, he had a Staff Infection, Pneumonia, Internal bleeding, blood transfusions and more.  After his stay at the hospital, he went on to the recovery center for over a month.  As of today,  He is now able to walk outside, and is feeling better overall. However, while Milt was in recovery, Carolee threw out a disk in her back, and when Milt left the recovery center, Carolee went in...literally passed each other, one in and one out.  They cleaned Milt's 'old' room, so Carolee could go in.  Her stay was about 10 days in recovery.  She is still in quite a bit of pain, but trying to work through it with the home therapist.  Bless their hearts!

...and June. June, June, JUNE!!!  I hope in the years to come, I will look back at June in a better way.  Joel worked at Executive and they went bankrupt, sooo...no job, no insurance... yeah.  But Joel picks the pieces up quickly, and together we formed an independent title searching company named Property Information Services of Utah.  So far, business is good.  It could be a blessing in disguise.  He works from home now, which is awesome.  I love it.  We have lunch together, and get to be together more.  The fourth of July is when we went independent.  We were suppose to be up with the family at a cabin, but the kids went with my mom and dad up there, and Joel and I transformed our office into a title plant.  We now have our health insurance...yay...and have to pay self employment taxes... boo!

So, yeah our summer was CraZy! But we learned to take it hour by hour, sometimes minute by minute.

Hudson update:  So fun, and cute.  He has definitely had the terrible two's.  He has been everything in a child that I would always say 'my kid will never act like that!' HA! The jokes on me!  He throws tantrums in the grocery store, I can walk through a store and he can be screaming and everyone is staring at me like a horrible mom because he's screaming.  Quite honestly, when he gets like that, I keep my sanity by tuning out.  At that point, I have tried every known tactic to make the kid happy, and nothing worked.  If I say anything to him while he's screaming like that, he'll just turn his head to get a higher pitch and scream louder! So, I just smile.  Maybe those shots they gave me a week before he was born, to develop his lungs better were not needed!  With all that said, Hudson has a very tender side to him.  He likes to get kisses and snuggle, he LOVES to play and dump out every bin of toys, so the whole house is scattered with toys.  He loves to go places and sneak outside the front door to run around to the back yard to play on the play set.  He likes to go to the gym with me and go in the child care there with the other kids and as he puts it..."talk to people".  He loves to be with Jordan and Madi (Yayee).  He is a strong kid, and he knows it!  He is still working on potty training.  One cool thing about Hudson is, nearly with every conversation we have as a family, it ends in a Hudson funny moment story.  We all love him tons!

Miss Madi, she is just my cute little side kick! We were able to fit in a 2 day girls trip this summer.  We had a lot of fun.  We got to shop, get manicures/pedicures, eat, and shop, and watch 'girly movies'.  We have a lot in common!  Madi likes to watch the older movies too!  This summer she baked, and baked some more.  She makes the best food ever!  I think her specialty is desserts.  It was like Christmas when we got her a sugar and flour canister.  She helped me get all my recipes in order and rearranged the kitchen a bit to suit her needs.  She is amazing.  This year she is in ballet 2 times a week, Jazz and Modern one night, and Hip Hop dancing.  We are going to sign her up for some Volleyball, to try it out.  Madi is an awesome organizer and planner.  She is in a book club with her friends, and it is the cutest thing ever!  When it was our turn to have it at our house, I was busy with business stuff, but Madi made a treat, decorated the table, and had everything ready to go.  She is great with people and loves to be around people.  She is in 4th grade!

Jordan, or 'JB' he started golfing this year.  He had a few lessons, and just keeps practicing.  He really seems to like it.  He is really athletically blessed.  He can do nearly any sport, and just pick right up on it rather quickly.  Since he can't play football, he's coaching!  Joel, Jordan and a couple other men are coaching a group of little league tackle football kids (9 yr. olds).  He hiked up King's Peak this summer.  The highest peak in Utah!  That was huge considering what he's been through.  He is the Student Body Pres. this year, and he is taking honors classes.  He went to a full week, and full days of school this week.  He hasn't done that since last October.  He is doing a lot better.  9th grade! He's over 6 feet tall and wow... he's a cute kid! I'm starting to see girls come in the picture too! But his site is set on going to the Airforce Academy, so he can't get too attached... which is fine with me!
