Wow! School has started already. This is Madi's first day of 1st grade and Jordan's second day of 6th grade. For Jordan, it is old news...but for Madi, this is quite an event. She is so organized and worried about every little detail, I think Joel was ready to go insane while she was primping, and packing and unpacking her back pack, figuring out if she wants cold or hot lunch, and the biggest issue... What should she wear? I need to thank Joel for dealing with a lot of these issues this morning with her. He was very patient with itchy belts, itchy tags, the right pair of shoes to wear, packing her lunch in an organized manner (according to Madi) and getting her some breakfast, even though she was too nervous to eat. All in all, Jordan and Madi made it to the bus on time, and Joel could go to work and relax.Tuesday, August 19, 2008
Starting School
